Spanish Wells Plantation

If you are looking for the little piece of the Island few visitors know about and even less visit, the 350 acre Spanish Wells Plantation just might be the place for you. It sits on high ground and was a watering hole for Spanish Mariners who filled their kegs from the artesian wells that used to bubble up from the ground. It also has a one acre minimum for all 195 homesites, most of which are on golf homesites or the navigable water.

Spanish Wells juts out into the Calibogue Sound is bordered on the opposite side by the deep water Broad Creek offering a lucky few property owners a unique water panorama where you get a sunrise view in the morning and a sunset view in the afternoon, both of which are often more than spectacular.

Spanish Wells has a community pool , tennis, a community dock in the bordering Calibogue Sound and Intracoastal Waterway and a nine hole golf course with separate tee boxes so as to make it an 18 hole experience.

The amenities of the neighborhood are managed by The Spanish Wells Club, but membership is optional.  There are Spanish Moss and Moonbeams galore in Spanish Wells and some of it could be just what your family has been looking for.
